A valued partner of The Home Inspectors, Tracey shares in this Realtor Spotlight her journey into real estate, offers valuable advice for home buyers and sellers, and explains why she chooses to collaborate with us.

Why did you choose to work in Real Estate?

I’m an interior designer by trade and flipped homes for 20 years before getting my license in 2009.

What is your favorite thing about being a Realtor?

I love helping people find their forever home and helping them on the design side to make it their own.

What are your hobbies or interests outside of Real Estate?

Interior design, classic rock, live music venues, walking, and hiking

What is one piece of advice you have for new Realtors entering the industry?

It is not for the faint heart. Prepare yourself with at least six months of savings to live on while you build your business. Talk to everyone about real estate and remind them of your value. You have to be in front of people and get to know them. You’re selling yourself just as much as you are selling real estate.

What is one piece of advice you have for anybody looking to buy or sell a home?

Find an agent that you get along with well and that understands your needs. An agent that has the knowledge to help you find a home and see the larger more expensive items that may need replaced before you purchase.
