This month Maria BuenRostro is in the Realtor Partner Spotlight. Maria lives in south Austin and services mostly from south Austin to San Marcos, east to Lockhart and north to Round Rock, Mano, Elgin and any place in between those areas. Maria has been a Real Estate Agent since June 2020 and a valued Realtor partner of The Home Inspectors since she first started in real estate. In our latest Realtor Partner Spotlight, Maria shared why she went into real estate, advice for home buyers, and why she chooses to partner with The Home Inspectors.

Why did you choose to work in Real Estate?

I love working with people. My whole career has always been helping people. Real Estate can be a challenging process and I like to be able to help my clients get through that process as smoothly as possible.

What is your favorite thing about being a Realtor?

I love being able to help everyone, but my joy comes from the ones that tell me they thought they wouldn’t be able to qualify from what they have been told time and time again and I am able to get them to the closing table with the help of awesome lenders. It might take more effort, but I’m ok with that.

What are your hobbies or interests outside of Real Estate?

I love to travel. 2 week road trips with my husband are my thing. I also love going for walks at town lake and spending time with my large family.

What is one piece of advice you have for new Realtors entering the industry?

Don’t rush. Study and involve yourself in learning everything you can especially in the slow months. Get a mentor or join a team.

What is one piece of advice you have for anybody looking to buy or sell a home?

Save as much as you can, take care of your credit score.

Why did you choose to partner with The Home Inspectors?
